I was met at the baggage claim by Margaret Brady of <a href="http://www.puerto-rico-tourism.com/puertoricotropicaltours.html">Puerto Rico Tropical Tours</a>, <a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nhD5LUQaWJQ/Tmp0e8d6D1I/AAAAAAAAAyU/KlCRnbugHRQ/s1600/PRTT-New%2BLOGO.png"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 151px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nhD5LUQaWJQ/Tmp0e8d6D1I/AAAAAAAAAyU/KlCRnbugHRQ/s200/PRTT-New%2BLOGO.png" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5650456757466173266" /></a> who transported me to our host hotel at the <a href="http://www.villadelsolpr.com/infoeng.html">Villa Del Sol</a>, where I was greeted by front desk attendants Maria and MariSol. I got all checked in and escorted to my room, which was a large, air-conditioned room with two double beds, flat screen TV, refrigerator, dining area and balcony with double french doors overlooking the pool.<br /><br />After a relaxing afternoon of regrouping from my trip, I hosted a small "Welcome To Puerto Rico" dinner with several of the hosts of the Puerto Rico FAM Tour 2011. The menu included Criollo Tipico, typical Puertorican food, Chillo (whole "head on" red snapper fish, stuffed with garlic and spices) Mofongo (smashed green plantain stuffed with shrimp and lobster) Enselada Verde (garden salad with fresh lime and oil and vinegar dressing) Our drink of choice, while not Puertorican, was Presidente Beer from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, (Ice cold with the frost forming on the bottle like the cloths of a beautiful girlfriend, Vestris de Novias)<br /><br />Night caps of "Cuba Libra" (rum and coke) finished off the first night back at our host hotel, Villa Del Sol.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/2597824795999516878-3209982906646810239?l=puerto-rico-tourism.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>TSB-SDQ Newsletternoreply@blogger.com0
